A short selection of pictures from the performance "La Ronde", by Boris Charmatz. Railway stations have always been places of romantic encounters. French choreographer Boris Charmatz takes over the hall of the Gare du Nord (Brussels) and deploys an essential dance form: the duet. Around 1900, the German author Arthur Schnitzler published Reigen/La Ronde. In this unique play, couples are made and broken up according to a pattern of A/B, B/C, C/D. So it is not just a question of pairs of couples, but a sequence of love relationships through which Schnitzler observes the society around him.
